Lord, help me! I'm scared. I need your guidance. I don't know what to do. Please give me the wisdom. I'm trapped, I will be choked to death in this darkness. Let your light come in and destroy the darkness! You can do anything! Please crush Satan! Destroy him! I want this era of darkness to be over. When will you return? Your people cry out for you! Give me the strength to carry on! I can't make it on my own. Wrap your arms around me, and help me get through this. I can't do this journey alone, thanks for putting friends in my life to help me get through. But most importantly, thank you for not giving up on me. I love you Lord! Save me, give me the strength I need.

Math RAP
So, I had to do this speech for math on how math is related to my dream career. Well, I got maybe a liitle too in to it. I created this RAP/dance because my career I chose was acting/dancing. So, here is my little RAP.
I was sitting there in my seat, bored as can be. I didn't know what to do. It was driving me crazy! I could handle the heat. I lost my beat. All these formulas? How can one memorize all these? Just go ahead and hit me in the head with a spatula! There has to be some trick to make learning math fun. I just can't stand sitting here on my bun! I have to bust a move! I have to start a groove! Come on with me! Don't be scared now! It's time to show them what we are made of! Let's give them a big WOW! Follow me, I'll show you how it's done. 1..2..3!! Please excuse my dear aunt sally! The parethesis, the exponents, the mulplication, the division, the addition, and the substaction is all great stuff we learn in math. They are the great math concepts! Learn them! Get them down! Take a step back now, let's get back on track. There's another key point to math. The numbers. We are on the right path now. So, numbers let's go! 0..1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9! Mix these numbers up to make bigger and better numbers! And introduce them to your aunt sally to make equations that are very fine! Like 7 + 1 = 8. Now that I have shown you how it's done. Go and make your own dance beat that will be great. Word!

AGGG! My life is like a drying machine. It tumbles, spins, and mixes up everything. I feel exactly like that! I just can't stand it! I'm about to explode! Yet, I'm too weary to. I can't end it, I won't. But what can I do? The world is on my back and I can't set it down. I cry out! But no one answers. They just add more weight . What can I do? Help me! No one understands what I'm going through.

I'm not a Perfect Girl
This is a poster on my wall that I bought. It reminds me everyday that I don't have to be perfect for God to still love me. I have no idea who wrote the poem, so I do not take credit for it.
I'm not a perfect girl
my hair doesn't always stay in place
I spill things a lot
I'm pretty clumsy
sometimes I have a broken heart
my friends and I sometimes fight
maybe some days nothin' goes right
but when I think about and take a step back
I remember how amazing life truly is
and through all my imperfections...

The Fight of Salvation
I'm in a ring wrestling with sin in the valley of despair. I'm pinned to the ground. I can not move. I turned my head to see satan holding out his hand to give sin a high-five. The one who I thought was my friend was actually my worst enemy. He was laughing at me. he started to messing with my head by showing me stuff from my past. I was ashamed, because it was all true. I struggled to get free, but it was of no use. I began to lose hope. I wepted. Then something caught my eye. It was a man. He was holding out his hand for me to tag Him in. I told Him, "No! This is my fault, not yours!" I continued to struggle. He reached out farther and called my name. I turned and looked at Him in the eyes. He said, "Take my hand and follow me." I turned at looked at Satan, his eyes were filled with evil and hate. I looked at the man again. His eyes were filled with love and hope. With as much strength that I had left, I stretched towards Him. He touched my hand and immedialty I felt hope. He moved me out of the ring. When he got into the ring the sin tagged Satan in. It was a furious fight. Until finally the man was pinned to the ground.I yelled, "No!" Satan laughed, "Who will save you now!" The referee began to count, "1...2...3..." Then all of a sudden the man got up and knocked Satan down and threw him out of the ring. I cheered and ran in. I thanked Him over and over. When the excitement wore down a little bit I asked Him, "What is your name? Who are you? Why did you do what you did?" He replied, " I am Jesus the Son of the Living God. I came to seek and save the lost." I then said, "I don't want to be lost anymore. Can I follow you?" Jesus replies, "Why you already are a follower!" I said, "Huh?" Jesus answers,"When you first touched my hand was when you first believed and started to follow."

This is a poem I wrote June 7, 2007. But now I am going to dedicate it to my Great Grandmother Hazel Luella Thykeson. Who is right now playing a good old game of cards with the Lord and having a blast. :) And one day I hope to see her again!

Lord, how could I have ever denied you? You are the creator of all things; you gave me life and I have turned from you. Oh, Lord forgive me! I shall live my life extremely for you. Nothing can separate me from you! Not even death! Death will only bring me closer. You don't have to give me gold or silver in Heaven. For seeing your face will be enough! Forever be the glory, Amen!
